How to reset your Apple Watch
In order to erase or reset your Apple Watch if you don’t have your iPhone anymore, you need to take the following steps:
1. On your Apple Watch, tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
2. Type your password if prompted.
3. For GPS + Cellular models, choose to keep or remove your cellular plan.
- If you want to pair your Apple Watch and iPhone again, keep your plan.
- If you don’t want to pair your Apple Watch and iPhone again, remove your plan.
- If you aren’t going to pair with a different watch or iPhone, you might need to contact your carrier to cancel your cellular subscription.
4. Tap Erase All to confirm.
This resets your Apple Watch to the factory settings.
How to Pair Apple Watch
1. Put your Apple Watch on your wrist.
2. Adjust the band or choose a band size so your Apple Watch fits closely but comfortably on your wrist.
3. To turn on your Apple Watch, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
4. Bring your iPhone near your Apple Watch.
5. Wait for the Apple Watch pairing screen to appear on your iPhone.
6. Tap Continue or open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then tap Pair New Watch.
7. When prompted, position your iPhone so that your Apple Watch appears in the viewfinder in the Apple Watch app.
8. This pairs the two devices.
9. Tap Set Up Apple Watch.
10. Follow the instructions on your iPhone and Apple Watch to finish setup.
