How to scan a QR code with iPhone/iPad
- Open the camera app the Home screen, Control Centre, or Lock screen.
- Select the rear facing camera. Hold your device so that the QR code appears in the viewfinder in the Camera app. Your device recognizes the QR code and shows a notification.
- Tap the notification to open the link associated with the QR code.
How to scan QR Codes with Samsung Galaxy
There are different ways in which you can scan the QR code with your Samsung Galaxy mobile device.
Bixby Vision
1. Start your camera app and select the “Bixby Vision”.
2. Enable the permission to use it in case you have not used it before.
3. Enable Bixby Vision to take pictures.
4. Use the camera to scan QR code.
5. Select “Go” to view the QR code content.
Samsung Internet
1. Open the Samsung Internet Beta app.
2. Tap three lines at bottom right of your screen.
3. Go to “Settings”.
4. Choose “Useful Features”.
5. Go back to the Home page.
6. Select the QR code item by URL at the top.
7. Allow permission to take photos.
8. Direct your camera clearly at the QR code and scan it.
The Samsung Camera App (Only OS 9.0 and above)
1. Swipe down to pull up your Quick Settings.
2. Select QR scanner.
3. Select “Ok” to proceed.
4. The camera will be launched and then you can scan the QR code.
5. You may need to enable it from the Settings icon at the top left in case your scanning is not working.
6. Click “Scan QR Codes”.
Gallery App
1. Take a photo of the QR code you would like to scan.
2. Open the Gallery.
3. Select the same image of the QR code.
4. Tap the “Bixby Vision” icon at the bottom left.
5. Choose “Lens” and enable Bixby Vision to read the QR code.
